Ground Transportation

  • Taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance travelled, the approximate fare to downtown Vancouver is $23-$26 (inclusive of all taxes) under normal conditions. Taxis serve the airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The Airporter provides bus service to major hotel destinations in downtown Vancouver. Fares are $12.00 one way and $18.00 round trip.
    • International Terminal – every 20 minutes from 8:55 to 19:15 and every 30 minutes from 20:25 to 21:25.
    • Domestic Terminal – every 20 minutes from 9:00 to 19:20 and every 30 minutes from 20:30 to 21:30.

Canadian Entry Requirements

To visit Canada you will need a valid passport, proof of who you are, or other travel documents. You MAY need a Temporary Resident Visa and sometimes a letter of invitation if you are from one of these countries.

Visa Information for Canada

Residents from some countries will be required a Temporary Resident Visa in order to enter Canada for the purposes of the Summit. TRV is the official name for Canada’s Visitor Visa. The immigration process is managed by the Consulate General du Canada and you can search for their offices nearest you. You may also need a letter of invitation.
