Claiborne Rice

Claiborne Rice, PhD, University of Georgia, is an Assistant Professor in the English department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he teaches courses in English Linguistics and Poetics. His research focuses on how contemporary theories of linguistics, especially cognitive linguistics, can be used to understand poetic language. He also serves as book review editor for the Journal of English Linguistics.
