Wall of Deliverables
Through collaboration and sharing of working, we can improve our own design communication skills. Seeing what’s worked — and what hasn’t worked — can be tremendously helpful for informing and honing our own technique.
How can I contribute?
Submit a deliverable for the IA Summit, or just share a deliverable for the wallofdeliverables.com website. There’s a submission form on the site.
The team: Livia Labate, Nathan Curtis, Jacco Nieuwland
If you’d like to volunteer to help facilitate the Wall of Deliverables, please send an email to summitdeliverables@gmail.com.

Poster Reception
Friday, 6pm – 8pm, Tennessee Exhibit Hall
Chat with your colleagues as you explore a wide variety of information architecture concepts and materials displayed in poster format. The poster authors work long and hard to communicate IA principles in a compelling, and sometimes playful, way.
Coordinated by Lori Baker
Mentoring Booth
The Mentoring Booth is your opportunity to get a different perspective on that thorny problem you’ve been wrestling with. Or, you can slide behind the booth and sit in the hot seat yourself for awhile and see who stops by for a consult.
Brought to you by the IA Institute and its gracious volunteers. If you’d like to volunteer for the booth: Email: mentoring [at]iainstitute[dot] org
Who’s game? Saturday evening, Skyway Room
Apples-to-Apples, Killer Bunnies, Carcassone, Fluxx… Whether you love board games or haven’t played since you were a kid, join us for a fun evening of game playing and conversation. Visit http://cli.gs/M1zpgq and help decide which games we’ll bring — invite your friends!
Career Room (Grand Salon F)
Looking for a job in the IA field? Or looking for an employee? The job fair room offers you a great opportunity to network and see what and who is out there. Where better to find a concentration of IA talent and those in need of information architects than the IA Summit?
Flex-Track (Venetian Room)
As jam packed as the schedule is, the conference still can’t cover all the things we have going on in our heads. The flex-track not only re-runs popular sessions, it also offers you the ability to schedule ad-hoc time to talk about anything you want…”birds of a feather” discussions, product demos…anything goes.
Facilitated by Chiara Fox
Topical Lunch Tables
For those of you who just can’t stop talking about IA, we’ve extended the discussion opportunities to lunch. Join one of several lunch tables where a host will get the conversational ball rolling on popular topics.
Organized by Larisa Brandt and Kristi Olson with special thanks to Cindy Chastain
Usability Bingo
No conference is complete without throwing around the latest buzz words. Well, pick up a bingo sheet from the Optimal Workshop booth and strike of the buzz words as you hear them. Various speakers have volunteered buzz words of their own so keep your ears pricked. Great prizes to be won, plus it’ll keep you awake during those mid afternoon sessions!
Organized by the hobbits at Optimal Workshop. Get more information from Sam-wise by dropping by their booth.
