Lori Bell

Lori Bell (aka Lorelei Junot) is Director of Innovation at the Alliance Library System and the founder and chief librarian at Second Life Library 2.0 ( SLL2.0). She's been a children's librarian, a reference librarian, an outreach librarian, and a technology consultant for library systems. In her work with SLL2.0 she has been addressing the administrative challenges of managing a complex, all-volunteer effort; experimenting with a rewards and compensation structure that encourages volunteers to continue sharing their time and expertise; and implementing new technical systems inside Second Life including voice communication, expert systems, and integration between SL and outside libraries and databases.
